Accessibility Statement

This website is run by HRish Solutions, LLC ("HRish"), my HR consulting practice in Colorado Springs. In this statement, "I" and "me" mean HRish. I want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, or a screen reader.

My commitment

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. I check it with automated tests and by hand with a keyboard. It isn't formally certified, and I keep improving it as I find problems.

What's built in

• A "Skip to content" link, the first thing the Tab key reaches.
• Menus that work with the keyboard.
• A clear outline that shows where you are when you use the keyboard.
• Less motion if your device asks for it: no smooth scrolling, no moving sliders and no video that plays on its own.
• Text colors with enough contrast to read easily.
• A label on every form field.
• Text descriptions (alt text) on images.
• Captions on my video, turned on from the start.

Known limits

• My PDF documents may not work well with every screen reader. If one gives you trouble, email me and I'll send the content in a format that works for you.
• Booking with Calendly: Calendly is a separate service, so I can't control how it works. If it gives you trouble, call or email me and I'll book you in myself.
