Outsourced HR Services for Day-to-Day HR Support

HR Operations Support from HRish Solutions, founded by Allisha McCartney, gives Colorado small businesses outsourced HR services for the day-to-day: one point of contact for HR questions, leave, HR admin, payroll and benefits support, SOPs, dashboards and HRIS selection, without an in-house HR hire.

I listen first

Before I suggest anything, I learn about your business, your goals and your team, with no assumptions and no cookie-cutter plans.

I simplify the complex

Compliance rules, policies and paperwork get broken into clear steps you can actually use. Less legal mumbo jumbo, more plain answers.

I build for growth

Every policy and process fits where you are now and where you're headed, so growth doesn't turn into chaos later.

Outsourced HR FAQs

It depends on how much support you need and how often you need it. I offer three ways to work together, Monthly partnership, Hourly and Project-based, and the starting price for each is shown under "Three ways to work together" on this page. After a consultation, I can tell you which one fits your business and what it would cost.

Most day-to-day HR functions can be outsourced. With my HR support services, that includes answering HR questions, leave administration, HR admin and employee files, policy updates, onboarding and offboarding support, HR reporting and process design. Day-to-day people management and the final calls usually stay with you. I work mostly remotely and come on-site when it's needed, and payroll processing typically stays with your payroll provider.

HR consulting usually means advice or a defined project, like writing a handbook or reviewing how you pay people. HR outsourcing means ongoing, hands-on support, where someone outside the business handles HR work with you month to month. I do both, through Project-based, Hourly and Monthly partnership work. If you also want someone in your leadership meetings shaping HR strategy, that's Fractional HR.

No. A PEO (professional employer organization) generally works through co-employment, becoming a co-employer of your team and usually taking over payroll and sponsoring benefits plans. As an HR consultant, I don't do any of that. You stay the employer of record, payroll stays with your payroll provider, and I help with the HR side.

Yes. I work alongside the payroll provider you already use; I don't replace it, and I don't process payroll myself. If you don't have one yet, or you've outgrown yours, I'll help you compare payroll services in Colorado Springs, Denver or wherever you're based and choose one that fits your size.

For email, I generally reply within 1 to 2 hours. A phone call usually gets me right away unless I'm in a meeting, and Google Chat and text are quick too. On a rare occasion it may be the next day. For anything urgent, call me, or text if I don't pick up.

Hourly help is from $115/hr, depending on the type of work. A monthly partnership starts around $1,950/mo and scales with the support you need. Project work is scoped individually and quoted up front, so you know the investment before I start. Most handbook projects start around $900; a full rebuild costs more than an update. The first consultation is free.
