A program is built from the pieces of my Training & Development work that fit your leaders: leadership coaching and advising, first-time manager training, difficult conversation coaching, performance management training and leadership team alignment sessions. I act as your leadership consultant through the whole process and keep it sized to your team, so you won't get a curriculum written for a company with thousands of people.
Yes. First time manager training gives new managers a plan, so they don't have to learn by trial and error. It covers delegating, handling conflict and difficult conversations, and accountability.
It depends on your goals, and I'll agree the length and how often sessions happen with you up front. A manager working through one specific challenge may only need a short stretch of support, while building a leader's skills over time takes longer.
Generally, no. Colorado law doesn't currently require private employers to provide harassment-prevention training, and a 2021 bill that would have required it for employers with 20 or more employees was postponed indefinitely. Training can still be worth doing. Under Colorado's POWR Act, one of the conditions for an employer's defense to some harassment claims involving a supervisor is a prevention program that has been communicated to both supervisors and nonsupervisory team members. This isn't legal advice, and when your situation needs an employment attorney, I'll work with one on your behalf.
Yes, I can, although it depends on the group size, the timing and location, and the training subject. Virtual is my first choice, and in-person sessions work too when they suit your team better. It's easiest to reach out about your workshop before anything gets scheduled, so I can tell you what will work.
This highly depends on the training being provided. For example, if it's training on how to provide effective feedback and regular communication, I look at things the owner now notices, any impact on team member performance, examples of what the manager is now doing, and feedback from team members or team member surveys before and after.
Hourly help is from $115/hr, depending on the type of work. A monthly partnership starts around $1,950/mo and scales with the support you need. Project work is scoped individually and quoted up front, so you know the investment before I start. Most handbook projects start around $900; a full rebuild costs more than an update. The first consultation is free.
